About This Role

Lead sales strategies, activities, operations, and budgets for the DePuy Synthes portfolio in a specific geographic area, driving sales and ensuring customer and patient satisfaction. This role involves recruiting, mentoring, and developing a diverse sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall management of sales strategies, activities, operations, and budgets for the DePuy Synthes portfolio within a specified geographic area.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse group of individuals within their region, ensuring all territories are filled with qualified sales professionals.
  • Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, and career development to the sales team.
  • Drive business results by collaborating with consultants to achieve territory objectives, enhance patient care, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assume a lead role in acquiring new accounts and surgeon relationships, while assisting consultants in penetrating existing accounts with new technologies.
  • Lead a portfolio of products, responsible for sales, growth, and income targets to improve gross profits, profitability, asset management, and budget management.
  • Handle business expenses in the Region with fiscal responsibility.
  • Establish relationships with key surgeons, key accounts, and associations to identify potential opportunities and drive collaboration toward innovative solutions.
  • Diligently participate in compliance program activities and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or Finance
  • 8+ years of relevant business and/or leadership experience
  • 2+ years of management, coaching, or mentoring experience
  • Demonstrated clinical and procedure excellence, product expertise, and new product introduction experience
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent is required in an applicable field such as Business, Marketing, Finance. An MBA is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of relevant business and/or leadership experience is required, paired with a minimum of 2 years of management experience, coaching, or mentoring others.
