About This Role

Lead sales strategies and operations for the DePuy Synthes portfolio in a specific geographic area, driving customer and patient satisfaction while achieving sales goals. Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of sales professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall management of sales strategies, activities, operations, and budgets for DePuy Synthes sales in a defined geographic area
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse group of sales professionals, ensuring all territories are staffed with qualified individuals
  • Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, and career development to the sales team
  • Drive business results by collaborating with consultants to set and achieve territory objectives and enhance patient care and customer satisfaction
  • Assume a lead role in acquiring new accounts and surgeon relationships, assisting consultants in penetrating existing accounts with new technologies
  • Lead a portfolio of products, responsible for sales, growth, and income targets to improve gross profits, profitability, asset management, and budget management
  • Manage business expenses within the Region with fiscal responsibility
  • Establish relationships with key surgeons, accounts, and associations to identify potential opportunities and drive collaboration
  • Actively participate in compliance program-related activities, promoting integrity, ethics, and compliance

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or Finance
  • 8+ years of relevant business and/or leadership experience
  • 2+ years of management, coaching, or mentoring experience
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to lead through change
  • Excellent listening, written & oral communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to make impactful sales presentations
  • Clinical and procedure excellence, product expertise, and new product introduction experience
  • Strong customer understanding and ability to use data to drive buying process
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop field sales talent
  • Track record of success in a complex organizational environment with enterprise mentality decision-making
  • Demonstrated leadership in business planning and project management along with documented sales achievement
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or Finance
  • At least 8 years of relevant business and/or leadership experience with a minimum of 2 years of management experience, coaching, or mentoring others
