Manage and grow sales of hydraulic filtration products and services in the Southern United States and Mexico, achieving sales objectives and building strong customer relationships. This remote role requires significant travel and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategic plan to grow business in alignment with Division Profit Plan goals
- Prepare sales presentations to create product understanding and awareness, quote projects, and negotiate pricing
- Build relationships with key end user customers to enhance long-term business prospects
- Maintain positive relationship with Customer Service to ensure all customer inquiries, orders, invoices, and complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively
- Canvass the market to gain insight into pricing and delivery requirements and communicate findings to leadership
- Organize regular training/promotional events for Channel partners and analyze sales statistics to promote sales
- Maintain a high level of expertise of all applications and trends to effectively promote Eaton hydraulic products and solutions
- Work closely with the Marketing Development Department to help identify, verify, and pursue development of new market or product opportunities
- Document all activity reports, prospects, and opportunities within the defined CRM contact management database and provide a 3-month forecast
- Represent Eaton Filtration at trade association meetings to promote product as appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and three (3)+ years of technical sales experience in the hydraulics industry OR HS Diploma/GED and six (6)+ years of technical sales experience in the hydraulics industry
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company Sponsorship
- Live within the designated territory (TX, OK, AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL)
- Valid drivers license with no restrictions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or HS Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of technical sales experience in the hydraulics industry with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with HS Diploma/GED
Nice to Have
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the listed territory
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution
- Master’s or MBA degree from an accredited university
- Experience working with hydraulic filtration products
- Experience managing reps and distributors
- Public speaking experience
- SalesForce and/or CPQ experience
