Provide on-site support, perform emergency repairs, and conduct start-up services and preventative maintenance for advanced UPS systems, batteries, and power distribution solutions. This role ensures peak performance and reliability for critical power solutions, focusing on uninterrupted power for businesses.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for critical power solutions
- Offer emergency repair services
- Perform start-up services for new installations
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability
- Partner with customers as trusted advisors, delivering innovative solutions
- Ensure operations are safeguarded and maximize uptime for mission-critical facilities
- Adhere strictly to company and customer safety rules for a secure work environment
- Collaborate with Field Service Technicians, taking direction from on-site leads
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of Power Systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience, including relevant coursework and internship experience
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted State Driver's license
- Ability to undergo and pass customer entrance requirements (background checks, drug screenings)
- Willingness for daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays
- Ability to provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter
- Ability to perform physical tasks: assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience.
- Three (3) years of Power Systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience; including relevant coursework and internship experience.
Nice to Have
- Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics or current enrollment in bachelor’s engineering program or military training/experience
- Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three-phase circuits
- Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment
- Ability to collaborate with Field Service Technicians
