About This Role

This Regional Director role holds full P&L accountability for a region, ensuring all assigned centers meet budget and metrics. It involves leading operations, developing staff, and driving business growth. The role requires significant travel within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example by coaching and supporting the company's health and safety program within the region
  • Supervise and direct the activities of General Managers and Region staff personnel, fostering teamwork
  • Develop and maintain clear organizational plans for business growth, revising periodically based on company direction and financial capabilities
  • Hire, manage, and, if necessary, terminate employees directly reporting to the Director position
  • Evaluate performance of direct reports according to Human Resources policy
  • Plan, budget, purchase, and ensure availability of all equipment and facilities needed for profitable operation of centers
  • Establish long and short-term sales goals for the Region and Centers with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Coordinate with Regional Marketing Manager and execute an overall marketing strategy
  • Coordinate with Region to execute pricing strategy and ensure pricing procedures and controls are in place
  • Review and analyze monthly financial information and take corrective action when necessary

  • Understanding of accounting and finance as it relates to the industry
  • High degree of industry knowledge in marketing, sales techniques, organization, systems and policy design, management
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills
  • Strong understanding of general marketing and sales techniques and strategies
  • Knowledgeable in the servicing & installing commercial/residential HVAC equipment & accessories
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a business or technical field
  • 5-7 years of leadership and/or management responsibilities
  • Strong understanding and overall knowledge of the residential and commercial HVAC/Refrigeration industry

  • 5-7 years’ experience in the HVAC/Refrigeration Industry
