This Recruiter role involves developing and implementing staffing strategies to attract diverse talent, managing the full recruitment cycle from drafting job descriptions to making offers, and ensuring compliance with employment laws for Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group.
Responsibilities
- Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on available roles, industry standards, and organizational needs
- Assist with job posting and advertisement processes
- Screen applications and select qualified candidates
- Schedule interviews, prepare interview questions, and other hiring/selection materials
- Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with the hiring manager during the offer process, recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Collect and analyze data to maintain current statistics for recruiting practices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies
- Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions, as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
- Human Resources certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRMSCP)
- Experience recruiting for a fast-paced EPC firm in the power delivery industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted
- 2+ years' experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
