About This Role

This Rebar Fabricator position involves examining customer order specifications, fabricating work pieces, and ensuring product quality while adhering to company safety policies. The role plays a part in supporting large construction projects across the nation.

Responsibilities

• Examine specifications of customer orders using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine characteristics of finished items, materials, and machine setup requirements
• Fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications
• Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties
• Examine work pieces visually, by touch, or using a tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards
• Package items for shipping and install protective devices to prevent damage during transport
• Follow company safety policy and procedures

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience

Nice to Have

• Experience in a team environment
• Knowledge of industrial machinery
• Forklift experience
• Knowledge with rebar fabricating
