R&D Engineer

About This Role

An R&D Engineer will collaborate with various departments to develop, enhance, and oversee the production of new and existing products by conducting market research, creating designs, and testing prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business management, marketing, and the R&D team to discuss product ideas
• Conduct market research and evaluate similar products and their functions
• Collaborate with the engineering and marketing department on product feasibility
• Redesign existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs
• Create design projects and specification sheets
• Present product designs to management and stakeholders
• Oversee the engineering of product prototypes
• Test prototype products for functionality, ease-of-use, and longevity
• Resolve product issues
• Oversee the production process
