The Psychometrist SE administers and scores a broad range of psychological and neuropsychological tests for child, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients, making careful observations and assisting in data collection and management under the supervision of a licensed staff psychologist.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for child, adolescent, adult, and older adult patient populations.
- Makes careful, complete, and accurate observations regarding patients' behavior and test-taking attitudes.
- Scores tests accurately and in a timely manner, including those administered by other departmental staff.
- Performs data entry and program execution for computer-based scoring, and assists in computer entry of test data for record keeping and research.
- Assists in collecting relevant historical and behavioral data about the patient under the request and supervision of a licensed staff psychologist.
- Maintains files of current and archived test results in a timely and accurate manner, protecting confidentiality.
- Stores, monitors usage, and requests orders of test materials, answer sheets, and equipment to maintain sufficient supply.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Behavioral Sciences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Behavioral Sciences
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Psychology or Behavioral Sciences
- Applicable state Licensure at the Psychological Associate Level
- Two years of clinical experience in a health care setting
- Neuropsychological assessment experience
- Experience with children/adolescents
- Proficiency with Word/Excel
- Experience in standardized assessment measures
