About This Role

The Psychometrist SE administers and scores a broad range of psychological and neuropsychological tests for child, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients, making careful observations and assisting in data collection and management under the supervision of a licensed staff psychologist.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for child, adolescent, adult, and older adult patient populations.
  • Makes careful, complete, and accurate observations regarding patients' behavior and test-taking attitudes.
  • Scores tests accurately and in a timely manner, including those administered by other departmental staff.
  • Performs data entry and program execution for computer-based scoring, and assists in computer entry of test data for record keeping and research.
  • Assists in collecting relevant historical and behavioral data about the patient under the request and supervision of a licensed staff psychologist.
  • Maintains files of current and archived test results in a timely and accurate manner, protecting confidentiality.
  • Stores, monitors usage, and requests orders of test materials, answer sheets, and equipment to maintain sufficient supply.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Behavioral Sciences

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Psychology or Behavioral Sciences
  • Applicable state Licensure at the Psychological Associate Level
  • Two years of clinical experience in a health care setting
  • Neuropsychological assessment experience
  • Experience with children/adolescents
  • Proficiency with Word/Excel
  • Experience in standardized assessment measures
