The Psychologist Supervisor is responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the Psychological Services Unit (PSU) at Oshkosh Correctional Institution. This role ensures patient access to mental healthcare in compliance with State and Federal guidelines and program standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer and supervise the Psychological Services Unit (PSU) at Oshkosh Correctional Institution (OSCI).
- Participate as part of the facility’s administrative team and collaborate with institution leadership.
- Develop, administer, supervise, and coordinate all psychological services programs within the facility.
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Psychological Services Unit staff.
- Provide direct services to patients.
- Provide consultation to institution administration and staff.
- Manage an Affirmative Action Plan and Health and Safety program within assigned responsibility areas.
Requirements
- Current Wisconsin licensure as a Psychologist or eligibility to obtain by time of appointment.
- Certification in CPR by the American Heart Association and training in use of the AED within three months of hire.
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Psychology or equivalent
