About This Role

This Project Portfolio Management Co-Op role is designed to develop skills in LEAN methodologies, improve financial data integrity, and provide insights into financial portfolios. The co-op will track budget adherence, onboard new Project Managers, streamline data management, and enhance data visualization for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue certification in LEAN methodologies to champion process improvements and operational excellence
  • Play a key role in improving the integrity and reliability of financial data to ensure informed decisions
  • Analyze data to create valuable insights into the financial portfolio and collaborate with regional leaders for strategic decisions
  • Engage in tracking budget adherence, identifying trends and variances to inform future strategies
  • Own the onboarding experience for new Project Managers, equipping them with knowledge and skills
  • Coordinate key data management processes during financial reviews, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial reporting
  • Identify and implement innovative enhancements in Power BI to improve data visualization and reporting

Requirements

  • Legally/permanently authorized to work in the US with no required sponsorships
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College program throughout the duration of the internship
  • Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or Business major
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Development-focused with ability to network and engage in ongoing career conversations
  • Advanced in MS Excel
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems & applications
  • Available to work between the hours of 8 AM-5 PM ET without course interference
  • Ability to report to Somerset and/or Titusville at least 3 days/week with remote work 2 days/week (Must be on-site at FDC in Somerset on Wednesdays)

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College program with a major in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or Business

  • Previous Co-Op and/or Internship experience
