Project Manager

About This Role

This Project Manager role involves overseeing construction project quality, evaluating projects, creating cost estimates, and ensuring project objectives are met for an electrical utility service provider. The role requires significant travel across the south-central US.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the planning and implementation of projects
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Help develop full scale project plans
• Work with operations team to assemble and coordinate project staff
• Manage project budget, plan and schedule project timelines
• Monitor project deliverables
• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
• Coach and support project team members with assigned tasks
• Perform Quality Control
• Present report defining project progress, problems, and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Complete and review timesheets daily, including accurate report of all labor and equipment

Requirements

• Degree in project management, construction management or equivalent in Utility Industry
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel 80%-100%
