Lead complex construction and mechanical projects from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality work, on-time delivery, and within budget. This role involves coordinating multiple teams, managing documentation, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and closeout activities
- Coordinate with fabrication, BIM, vendors, and field teams
- Manage equipment and ductwork submittals and technical documentation
- Oversee purchasing, material flow, and site logistics
- Monitor progress, schedules, and change orders
- Support accurate billing and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contract standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project partners
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant field experience
- Experience with large mechanical installations and rooftop equipment
- Background in multi-family, hospitality, or large commercial projects
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of construction documents and drawings
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant field experience (or equivalent education and PM background)
Nice to Have
- Trade certification, apprenticeship, or journeyman credentials
- Experience with CAD, BIM, or Timberline
