About This Role

This role will support Design Studio Project Managers in material/vendor research, plant procurement, drawing review, and construction oversight, ensuring design intent is preserved through the build process.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Design Studio Project Managers with conducting material and vendor research
  • Assist with plant material procurement and tagging
  • Review drawing sets
  • Oversee construction
  • Coordinate projects
  • Manage pricing efforts
  • Lead day to day project level efforts in Landscape Construction Observation and Construction Management
  • Perform QA/QC of drawing sets
  • Review OPC’s (Opinion of Probable Costs)
  • Assist with the billing process
  • Aid in contractor bidding process
  • Perform plant selection, procurement and tagging
  • Perform planting layouts and mockup review
  • Oversee construction in accordance with CHLA drawings
  • Generate site visit reports and punch lists
  • Communicate at a high level with clients
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for contractors

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 Years of employment history in a landscape architecture studio or project manager environment
  • Experience in landscape construction or project management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Administration or Construction Management background
  • 4 to 6 years of employment history in a landscape architecture studio or project manager environment, with experience in landscape construction or project management
