Project Manager

About This Role

This Project Manager will oversee mechanical and plumbing system installations for a multi-discipline MEP+ contractor, managing projects from design to completion. This role requires expertise in design, engineering, estimating, and project management in the commercial construction sector.

Responsibilities

• Understand commercial construction logistics, labor, material, and equipment handling
• Read and understand plans and specifications and translate information to operational realities
• Understand basic business practices and construction-related accounting reports
• Facilitate the installation of Mechanical and Plumbing systems
• Coordinate labor with superintendents, jobsite foremen, and clients
• Evaluate quotations
• Select and manage subcontractors
• Handle equipment selection, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

Requirements

• College degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC construction including estimating, project management and business development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of commercial construction logistics, labor, material, and equipment handling
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Understanding of basic business practices and construction-related accounting reports

Qualifications
