This Project Coordinator role is critical for maintaining supply chain data integrity and supports daily master data updates, validations, and quality checks. This position ensures data accuracy for planning systems and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily master data updates and validations including UOM, BOM, quantities, hierarchy, attributes, and frozen file checks to ensure accuracy across planning systems
- Execute manual data entry, cleansing, formatting, and normalization of datasets to support the Data Steward
- Maintain and prepare data for scenario planning cycles, including loading inputs, validating deltas, refreshing versions, and organizing shared files
- Coordinate and maintain data quality Management Information that is timely, accurate, and clearly communicated
- Ensure all data changes follow defined governance controls, documentation standards, and traceability guidelines
- Support reporting and metric preparation by aggregating data for supplier alignment, capacity metrics, and planning KPIs
- Assist with audit support activities including reviewing completeness, identifying missing attributes, and tracking data issues
- Maintain version control, file organization, trackers, and change logs used by the Data Steward and cross-functional partners
- Partner with engineering, category, project management, and planning teams to capture updates and log incoming data requests
- Develop and maintain resource and activity trackers, monitoring data flows and prioritizing incoming requests
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in data management, operations support, or planning roles
- 5 or more years of hands-on experience with master data updates, validations, accuracy checks, and operational data processes
- 5 or more years of experience with project logs, governance templates, resource tracking, risk and issue logs, and meeting materials preparation
- Demonstrated experience or exposure to data governance concepts and master data processes
- Experience supporting scenario planning cycles and data quality management information preparation
- Background in coordinating with cross-functional teams including engineering, category management, and planning groups
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including large datasets, pivots, VLOOKUP, filters, data validation, cleansing, formatting, and template-based reporting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling with ability to maintain 98% or higher accuracy rates
- Excellent analytical skills for interpreting and validating complex datasets
- Superior organizational and documentation skills with ability to maintain version control and file organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work independently and maintain consistency while managing shifting priorities
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working with repetitive and manual data tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to deliver on daily priorities within tight timelines and meet 24-48 hour turnaround requirements
- Experience with project management and PMO tools such as MS Project, Planner, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps
