This Project Coordinator role plans, coordinates, and executes projects within Laredo Physician Group, ensuring smooth operations and successful completion of deliverables by collaborating with physicians, leadership, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Proactively coordinate assigned project progress and timelines to ensure project goals and deliverables are met
- Coordinate day-to-day project tasks and project management documents such as project plan, budget, schedule, or scope
- Conduct post-project implementation reviews to identify successes and opportunities for future projects
- Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication between project teams throughout the project life cycle
- Coordinate with local leadership, new providers, and corporate members of the on-boarding team to ensure a seamless on-boarding process
- Produce preliminary materials for internal and external dissemination and review as directed by the Sr. Project Manager
- Lead Market Transition Calls and maintain weekly reporting on status of provider on-boarding/off-boarding for the leadership team
- Submit Capital Appropriation & Project Authorization & Cost requests and coordinate delivery or installation of capital purchases
- Provide administrative support to the Sr. Project Manager
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Business or healthcare related field
- Minimum of one to three years of administrative or executive assistant role in a healthcare environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly to meet deadlines
- Strong and thorough attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Business or healthcare related field
- 1-3 years of administrative or executive assistant role in a healthcare environment
Nice to Have
- Three to five years of administrative or executive assistant role in a healthcare environment
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
