The Project Coordinator will manage projects under the direction of a Study Director/Principal Investigator, ensuring timeline adherence, internal and external communications, and project deliverables. This role acts as a primary liaison between clients, scientists, and team members to ensure smooth project operations and timely data delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall projects under the direction of a Study Director/Principal Investigator
- Ensure timeline adherence, internal and external communications, and project deliverables
- Act as a liaison between clients, scientists, and team members
- Attend client meetings and assist with determining project requirements
- Maintain a project management database and track timelines for all deliverables
- Assist Study Director/Principal Investigator(s) in prioritizing projects based on current workloads
- Identify project success factors for analysis, reporting, and tracking metrics
- Ensure all project tasks meet client expectations and comply with contract, protocol, and SOPs
- Communicate project updates, including changes to deadlines, to clients
- Serve as liaison with accounts receivable for invoicing at appropriate milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related field
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office suite
- Skills in verbal and written communication
- Skills in problem solving towards meeting client deadlines
- Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to communicate with other employees to develop sound procedures and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related field
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical development industry and contract research organizations (CROs)
- Working knowledge of customer relations management software applications
