Program Director

About This Role

Direct, manage, and administer program coordination and service delivery for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role oversees the implementation of Individual Service Plans and ensures compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and effectively manage operations QIDP/Program Coordinators to optimize individual and team performance through effective leadership, mentoring, and training
• Assist the Executive Director and/or Associate Executive Director with timely, open, and effective communication regarding persons served
• Ensure preplacement process and paperwork are reviewed and implemented
• Ensure annual staffing's are completed within 365 days, with assessments completed within 30 days of the annual staffing, including comprehensive functional assessments
• Ensure new training objectives are implemented based on IDT discussion and assessments
• Monitor services to address health and safety risks for participants
• Conduct monthly site visits and client chart reviews for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure all financial documents are completed and submitted timely
• Ensure all critical incidents are entered into critical incident management system
• Coordinate Incident/Accident Review process, monitor for patterns, and provide feedback for action necessary to prevent incidents in future

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field
• Minimum of two years working directly with persons with developmental disabilities
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
• Able to meet Developmental Disabilities Professionals (DDP) qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Driver’s license from state of residence with a satisfactory driving record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field
• Minimum of two years working directly with persons with developmental disabilities and minimum of two years of supervisory experience
