Production Supervisor

About This Role

Oversee production operations, ensuring quality standards and production goals are met while fostering a positive work environment at the Newark, NY facility. This role involves leadership and hands-on maintenance support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and manage team performance to meet production targets
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and quality
• Provide maintenance support to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and ultrasonic equipment
• Provide training and support to team members, fostering their professional development
• Collaborate with other departments, including quality control and maintenance, to resolve production issues
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
