Production Supervisor

About This Role

The Production Supervisor (Night Shift) monitors and coordinates plant floor activities, ensures schedules are met, and minimizes back orders. This role involves training new hires, supervising assigned employees, and ensuring product quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct training for new team members
• Provide feedback and development to the production team
• Mentor and coach employees one-on-one and in groups
• Maintain interdepartmental, general business, and customer communication and confidentiality
• Perform supervision duties in accordance with organizational policies and laws
• Responsible for training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, and performance appraisals
• Partner with the leadership team and human resources to address complaints and resolve problems

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years experience in Architectural Glass Manufacturing
• 2+ years manufacturing production supervisory experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and two (2) year degree preferred
• At least five (5) years’ experience in an Architectural Glass Manufacturing environment, with two (2) years of manufacturing production supervisory experience.

Nice to Have

• Two (2) year degree
• Tempering and fabrication experience
• Made to order (MTO)/custom manufacturing experience
