Supervise production staff to ensure manufactured products meet high levels of quality and customer expectations. This role involves assessing, designing, implementing, and executing quality programs and processes to drive continuous improvement and reduce quality incidents.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff to produce manufactured products and organize and monitor workflow
- Assist Management in assessing individual and team performance and development
- Coach and counsel teams through accountability matrix and motivate them to achieve goals
- Prepare shift manning schedules to ensure proper coverage and production
- Record attendance, document vacation and holiday taken, and ensure proper handling of ADP timecards
- Document absenteeism and communicate unfavorable trends to the supervisor
- Advise management of employee issues related to Safety, Quality, Production, and Personnel
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on policies and procedures
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards
- Maintain workflow by monitoring processes, setting processing variables, and observing control points and equipment
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 4+ years of progression in manufacturing leadership positions
- Working knowledge of statistical fundamentals
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes or technical background
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to groups of people at various levels
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management
- Ability to multi-task several projects simultaneously
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree / Technical schooling is preferred.
- 4+ years of progression in manufacturing leadership positions of growing responsibility
