Production Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise and coordinate production activities for the 2nd shift, ensuring maximum resource utilization to meet production and quality standards while upholding the highest safety protocols. This role involves monitoring KPIs, leading a team of associates, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate production activities to maximize associate and equipment resources
• Meet or exceed production and quality standards while maintaining the highest safety standards
• Assist the Plant Manager in monitoring and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Supervise and direct the work of direct reports across assigned shifts
• Identify projects to reduce waste and increase efficiencies
• Ensure shift compliance to safety and environmental policies and employee adherence
• Utilize time-keeping system to monitor and approve associates' work hours
• Assist in projects related to safety and process improvements
• Enforce company policies regarding safety, environment, and production
• Work cross-functionally with maintenance and quality to ensure optimal production and product specification conformance

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred. High School Diploma required.
• Minimum two (2) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience required.
