The Production Scheduler coordinates material movement within the Lenox plant, supporting the supply chain vision to be a leader in the food processing industry. This role involves reconciling production orders, managing inventory, and tracking key performance indicators to ensure accurate data and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile production orders, verifying production records match levels entered into SAP
- Perform changes or physical counts as needed for accurate final confirmations that confirm inventory quantities match actual quantity
- Compile data and generate reports by entering data into computer
- Track KPI’s, generate and post reports, assist production in updating KPI boards
- Manage daily production transactions for inventory control of raw, semi-finished, and finished goods, as well as daily liquid reconciliation
- Track rework and un-saleable inventories and direct usage
- Evaluate data to pinpoint issues in collaboration with various departments
- Deliver last minute analyzed reports to the detail requested
- Complete transactions at month end to assist accounting department with closing the month
- Ensure regulatory compliance at all times
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and SAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and solve problems effectively
- Strong focus on specifics
- High regard for data integrity
