Dryer Packager

About This Role

The Dryer Packager is responsible for the proper packaging, sealing, labeling, and stacking of finished product containers while maintaining overall cleanliness and sanitation of dryer areas. This role requires adherence to safety work rules and food safety & quality policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall equipment cleanliness and sanitation of dryer areas.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly master sanitation schedules.
• Verify final weights of finished products.
• Ensure proper packaging, sealing, labeling, and stacking of finished products.
• Read and comprehend batch records for solids and recon used and batch sequencing.
• Prepare and perform pre-operational inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and collaborate with maintenance personnel.
• Operate dryers, including HPP, airflow, and burner controls.
• Complete and verify all required documentation at the end of each shift.
• Communicate effectively during shift hand-offs.

Requirements

• Advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with operating dryers and related equipment.
• Strong understanding of OEE targets and production documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education.
