Production Operator

About This Role

The Production Operator is responsible for manufacturing products to specification and ensuring cleaning and sanitation requirements meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce quality products
• Troubleshoot machinery issues
• Perform proper and accurate product, package, and code changes
• Maintain equipment per manufacturer and internal specifications, integrating with the maintenance team for repairs
• Perform Operator CIP/COP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning
• Report and/or correct safety issues, maintaining proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings
• Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product, including codes, seals, and weights
• Notify responsible personnel and assist in resolution if out-of-specification conditions are observed
• Follow procedures for isolating hold product or defective material
• Participate in training, pre-shift meetings, team assignments, and audits
• Complete and accurately document all activities during shift
• Comply with all standard safety practices, rules, and GMP policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
• Solid interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, stressful environment with minimum supervision
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Some advanced educational training is a plus (Associates, Certification, etc.)
• 2+ years of relevant work experience

• Advanced educational training (Associates, Certification)
• Capable of learning SAP Inventory Management
