Production Operator

About This Role

Operate production machinery and ensure manufacturing standards are met while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This role contributes to the production of sustainable packaging solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet production standards on specific assignments within required timeframes
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas
• Perform all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements
• Ensure safety and quality throughout production
• Notify Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line to maintain safety and quality
• Report all production waste/issues to Production Lead or Supervisor
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
