Production Line Machine Operator

About This Role

Operate and set up machines that fill tubes and bottles with products, ensuring quality standards are met for a wellness company.

Responsibilities

• Hook up vats or tanks
• Prepare filling lines for operation by adjusting equipment and preparing paperwork
• Clean Video Jet head and check placement of labels
• Operate filling lines ensuring quality standards, manually placing bottles, components, and film
• Complete reports and labels with accurate product and operational information
• Assist in training new associates on proper procedures
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and upkeep duties
• Inspect and maintain quality of products being produced
• Enter data into the computer as needed
• Disassemble, spray, and wash equipment as part of clean-up duties

Requirements

• Ability to work independently
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under stress
• Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. consistently for eight hours
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Manual dexterity (speed and accuracy)
• Ability to organize and coordinate projects and people

Nice to Have

• Basic Computer and typing skills
• Ability to operate a high pressure hose
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to climb stairs
