About This Role

Provide a safe, loving, and educational environment for children ranging from infants to 12 years old for Melaleuca team members. This role involves planning and implementing educational programs and ensuring the well-being of the children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the care, safety and well being of children.
• Provide a loving environment.
• Set up physical environment to meet the needs of infants, preschool or school-aged children.
• Help plan an educational curriculum.
• Help provide weekly lesson plans to parents and childcare Manager.
• Participate in family activities, which include Christmas program, snacks with parents, summer picnic and parent appreciation nights.
• Attend monthly staff training meetings.
• Complete workshop training of 4 hours per year.
• Responsible for closing of facility, which includes room maintenance and locking of building.
