Lead the Card Customer Experiences team within Capital One's Experience Design organization, focusing on enriching digital and physical customer experiences for credit cards. Drive business advantage and innovation by defining vision, strategy, and execution for high-impact design projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-disciplinary team of design leaders and designers
- Collaborate with research teams and Product and Tech leadership
- Identify and advocate for high-leverage opportunities with executive stakeholders
- Lead high-impact, highly complex design projects to drive experience excellence and business outcomes
- Partner with senior leaders across acquisitions, payments, customer management, and collections & recovery
- Bring coherence to the digital card customer journey and innovate for best-in-class experiences
- Present work to executive leaders and stakeholders, integrating design frameworks, data, and research insights
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in leading product design teams and delivering products to market
- At least 3 years managing managers
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in leading product design teams and delivering products to market; at least 3 years managing managers
Nice to Have
- At least 12 years of experience in leading product design teams and delivering products to market
- Experience in a design toolkit spanning product design, service design, design strategy, and content design
- Deep experience leading product design teams operating across UX and UI, strategy, content, and research from strategy through delivery to market
- Deep experience partnering with product managers, engineers, marketing, and analytics leaders across multiple business lines
- Deep experience interfacing with executive leadership to solve problems, influence key decisions, and drive results
- Experience working within a design system
- Proficiency with web and mobile technologies and platforms
- Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Experience managing an interdisciplinary design team
- Proficiency in business case development
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship building across complex organizations
- Exceptional people management and development skills
