Principal - Salesforce

About This Role

This role involves leading Salesforce projects, optimizing the platform for B2B relationships, and bridging business needs with technical solutions for United Airlines' worldwide passenger sales organization. The Principal focuses on strategic project management, data excellence, and continuous process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Steer Salesforce projects through prioritization of new requests/backlog, collecting/clarifying requirements, impact analysis, and partnering with the DevOps team for solution assessment
• Maintain CRM data quality through the identification, deletion, cleansing and update of inaccurate data
• Guide users with report/dashboard troubleshooting and creation
• Advance the identification of process inefficiencies and automation opportunities to include process and workflow mapping
• Manage Salesforce (SFDC) core functionality in conjunction with offshore team including troubleshooting system issues, bulk data import/export, creation/maintenance of documentation, optimize development & production deployments
• Partner with Sales Enablement team to create training and reference materials and provide training on system functionality and new features or enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Salesforce Admin Certification (or ability to obtain within the first 12 months)
• 4+ years of Salesforce platform experience
• Proven ability to understand and create Workflow and Process Maps
• Knowledge of Salesforce AI and how to identify AI opportunities
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices and functionality
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of Salesforce platform experience and 3+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of IT experience
• 3+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience
