Power Generation Technical Specialist 1

About This Role

This role is for an entry-level Power Generation Technical Specialist who will work on renewable energy projects, applying foundational engineering concepts and developing professional skills through mentored experience within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Site Grading Plans and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans
• Design Stormwater Management Plans, and Hydrologic and Hydraulic / Drainage Plans
• Prepare Utility Design and Relocation Plans and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Plans
• Conduct Geotechnical Investigations and prepare relevant sections
• Complete Permit Applications (earth disturbance, building, land development, high occupancy)
• Develop Access Road Sections, Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Quality Control Plans
• Prepare Construction Cost Estimates and provide Owner's Engineer Support During Construction
• Perform Field Investigations and daily/weekly Construction Inspections
• Conduct Earthwork Construction Quality Control, Compaction Testing, and Concrete Testing
• Perform ESC Inspections, SWPPP Inspections, and Environmental Monitoring
• Collect data and gather information or documents
• Participate in laboratory testing and field investigations
• Perform basic computations or analysis and assist with preparation of engineering deliverables
• Observe construction activities
• Manage personal tasks and adhere to deadlines and scope

Requirements

• B.S. Engineering or other technical degree
• Foundational engineering concepts
• Driver's License

• B.S. Engineering or other technical degree
• Entry-level with 0+ years of experience, foundational engineering concepts through undergraduate-level education
