POS Tester

About This Role

This role is for an experienced POS Tester with a strong background in test automation and functional testing. The individual will be responsible for performing test automation within sprints and testing across various application platforms, specifically focusing on POS hardware and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Perform Test Automation during the sprint across multiple application platforms (Web, Mobile, Cloud and Desktop)
• Create and manage bug reports and communicate with the team
• Build different test scenarios and acceptance tests
• Closely work with deployments teams and resolve any level issues for the system
• Send various status reports including Test Closure, Weekly and monthly reports
• Co-ordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and work as an individual

Requirements

• Automation SDET experience
• POS Automation and Functional testing experience
• POS H/W and peripheral testing experience
• 8+ years of experience in Agile Functional testing and POS Test Automation
• Experience with test automation tools like Playwright, Robot Framework, Selenium, Java, API, Python
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Worked in Retail domain
• Excellent Communication and collaborative skills

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Agile Functional tester, POS Test Automation, Development with Quality Engineering background.

Nice to Have

• Retail Domain experience
• Understanding on DevOps & CICD auto build process
