PM Massage Therapist

About This Role

This role is for a licensed Massage Therapist who provides excellent customer care and performs a variety of massage and bodywork therapies in a resort salon and day spa setting. The therapist will also be responsible for maintaining hygiene standards and up-selling spa services.

Responsibilities

• Perform massages and bodywork therapies
• Work as a cohesive team member
• Up-sell and cross-sell spa services
• Greet clients appropriately
• Understand and utilize the Client Intake Form
• Learn new massage modalities and body wrap treatments
• Sanitize all tools and equipment used after each client
• Ensure that the room is set up and broken down properly
• Perform services within allotted time
• Attend all required meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Adhere to state, local, and county licensing laws and regulations and carry liability insurance
• Knowledge of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone modalities
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of various modalities (neuromuscular, myofascial, trigger point, pre-natal, craniosacral, and reiki)
• Passionate about the massage and bodywork industry and continued education
• Product knowledge and recommendations
