Provide compassionate and therapeutic massage to hospice patients, collaborating with a clinical team to offer comfort and emotional support. This part-time role allows you to make a meaningful impact by bringing dignity and peace to patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' needs and determine appropriate massage techniques
- Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered hospice care
- Maintain knowledge of massage therapy laws, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement efforts
- Communicate clearly, document accurately, and reliably attend scheduled visits and meetings
Requirements
- Completion of an approved massage therapy program
- Current Illinois Massage Therapy License
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Compassion, professionalism, and a passion for hospice care
