This role involves providing safe, effective, and appropriate Swedish massage services to clients, taking into account their individual physical or age-related needs. The Massage Therapist will perform health history assessments and apply suitable techniques.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective and appropriate Swedish massage services to clients
- Perform health history on clients and update prior to each session
- Ascertain precautions/contradictions for massage prior to each session
- Explain procedures and apply Swedish massage techniques appropriate to client needs and preferences
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of massage
- Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
