Supervise and coordinate the operations of work groups, consisting of both civilian and military personnel, in the production resources department of Pearl Harbor NSY and IMF. This role ensures timely completion of important assignments through managing resources, scheduling, and providing training.
Responsibilities
- Review plans of subordinate supervisors for the layout of difficult or important jobs
- Assure availability of special equipment, tooling, materials, and manpower or services critical to timely completion of assignments
- Direct, coordinate, and supervise the operations of work groups consisting of civilian and military personnel
- Provide decisions on priorities and scheduling details
- Provide instruction and training to subordinate supervisors in directing work of a new or unusual nature
- Eliminate potential bottlenecks to minimize effect of work stoppage or delays to ensure job completion remains on schedule
- Be responsible for decisions and recommendations on a wide range of personnel management matters concerning subordinates, including setting performance standards and rating or reviewing performance
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Ability to supervise through subordinate supervisors
- Ability to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment continuously
- Willingness to participate in medical surveillance programs
- Willingness to travel to CONUS and OCONUS, including remote or isolated sites, on military and commercial aircraft
- Willingness to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to accept a temporary promotion/reassignment not to exceed one year
- Willingness to work within the commuting distance of Oahu, Hawaii

- Must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
