About This Role

Provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting, including examining and treating acute conditions, performing minor procedures, and supervising advanced practice providers, while contributing to a growing healthcare network.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with acute conditions
• Take medical histories and order diagnostic tests
• Make diagnoses and prescribe medications
• Perform minor procedures and administer vaccinations
• Document patient progress and coordinate follow-up care
• Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
• Work 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
• Experience treating patients across all age groups
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting
• Proficiency in reading EKGs and X-rays
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
