About This Role

Join Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care as a Physician to provide a wide range of clinical services, treating acute conditions and performing minor procedures for patients across all age groups in a modern clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with acute conditions
• Take medical histories and order diagnostic tests
• Make diagnoses and prescribe medications
• Perform minor procedures and administer vaccinations
• Document patient progress and coordinate follow-up care
• Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
• Work 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Active state medical license
• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience
• At least 18 months experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
• Experience treating patients across all age groups
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting
• Proficiency in reading EKGs and X-rays
• Strong communication and listening skills

Qualifications
