The Warehouse Associate will work in a Mail Order Pharmacy setting, focusing on packing and shipping prescription orders to ensure timely delivery to patients. This role is crucial for a connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience, emphasizing accuracy and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily functions of packing and shipping prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Operate automated packing machines, as well as automated and manual drug dispensing equipment
- Load automated dispensing machines
- Validate, package, and deliver prescription drug orders
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance based on policy
- Work business required overtime (BROT) when needed
- Maintain the ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods and move about work areas
- Lift, reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, and walk with up to 50 pounds
- Perform tasks requiring close visual acuity, such as viewing a computer screen, reading, and visual inspection of small parts
- Concentrate on tasks without distraction over a period of time
- Perform picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers
- Extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word for clear communication and detailed instructions
Requirements
- Ability to work Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am
- Ability to work Friday, 3:00pm - 1:30am
- Ability to work Saturday, 2:00pm - 12:30am
- Ability to work an additional 4th day of choice (Monday or Tuesday)
- Regular and predictable attendance based on policy
- Ability to work business required overtime (BROT) when needed
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to occasionally lift/reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk with up to 50 pounds
- Close visual acuity for computer screens, reading, and small part inspection
- Ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction
- Ability to perform tasks primarily with fingers (picking, pinching, typing)
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Ability to bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
- Ability to stoop to a considerable degree
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
- Schedule flexibility for testing support including early starts, late stays and weekend support
