This role is for a graduate Pharmacy Intern who will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. The intern will deliver exceptional care to patients and contribute to patient care programs.
Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional care to patients

- Support the Pharmacy Manager in motivating, inspiring, and developing Pharmacy Support Staff
- Identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth
- Implement solutions by leading the team to achieve specified goals
- Adapt to change and adjust plans in a dynamic community healthcare setting
- Collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
- Apply acquired knowledge to help drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS
Requirements
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- 0-3 years prior relevant work experience
- Possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
- Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
- Finger Dexterity
- Ability to reach overhead, stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
- Precision control
- Ability to stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items
- Close visual acuity
- Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within required timeframe per state guidelines
Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
- 0-3 years prior relevant work experience
Nice to Have
- Immunization eligibility
- 3-5 years prior relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
