Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Contracts Manager

About This Role

Manage and administer contracts for pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and supply chain. This role involves drafting Statements of Work and Change Orders, facilitating contract approvals, and ensuring compliance with financial and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft and manage Statements of Work (SoWs) and Change Orders (COs) for low-risk contracts using a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system
• Support contract execution activities, including routing, tracking, and facilitating timely approvals
• Advise on and troubleshoot existing agreements under the guidance of senior contract team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure contract terms, conditions, and deliverables are met
• Assist with budget forecasting, accruals, and financial close activities

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of direct experience in contract drafting and contract lifecycle management within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry
• Hands-on experience with Ariba
• Hands-on experience with SAP
• Hands-on experience with Contract lifecycle management systems
• Working knowledge of contract manufacturing and outsourced services (e.g., CMOs, clinical or testing laboratories)
• Experience supporting clinical and/or commercial supply chain contracts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years of direct experience in contract drafting and contract lifecycle management within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry
