Personal Lines Account Manager

About This Role

Serve as a trusted advisor to standard personal lines clients by providing consultative guidance and best-in-class service. This role involves maintaining client relationships, servicing existing accounts, and developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers
• Leverage personal insurance knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities for a high volume book of business
• Foster an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications
• Participate in the retention of renewal business
• Interact with producers and office leaders to make coverage recommendations and engage in account rounding activities
• Ensure the client has continuous and proper coverage and advise them of any recommendations within a mutually established timeline
• Review current policies and provide recommendations regarding carrier placement options
• Utilize department workflows and a network of industry contacts to determine appropriate coverage
• Execute coverage analysis as needed and provide accurate quotation for any additional coverage

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years’ experience of Personal Lines client management experience
• Valid P&C brokers’ license
• Proficient in insurance agency management systems (AMS 360, Work Smart, EPIC preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of Personal Lines underwriting coverage and procedures

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years’ experience of Personal Lines client management experience

• Industry specific designations (CISR, CIC or similar)
