About This Role

Serve as an Associate Personal Banker at Wells Fargo, building customer relationships through proactive outreach, proposing financial products and services, and assisting with banking requests.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach
  • Propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise judgement within defined policies and procedures
  • Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
  • Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customer
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
  • Maintain cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spend time completing service-related tasks as needed

Requirements

  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent
  • Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English (if required)
  • Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
  • SAFE registration at the time of employment

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
  • Ability to educate and connect customer to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
  • Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting
  • Relevant military experience including working in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints
