About This Role

Cultivate relationships with members and prospective members through a consultative sales approach. This role involves opening new accounts, basic lending, and auto lending processes while prioritizing a personalized, high-quality member experience.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with current and prospective members through a consultative sales approach
• Recommend appropriate credit union products and services to meet financial goals
• Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and cashier’s checks
• Prove cash at the end of the day
• Open deposit and loan products, capturing necessary information in application systems
• Provide information and referrals for other services like wealth management, mortgage, and insurance
• Greet members enthusiastically and actively look for ways to 'surprise and delight' them
• Assist members in using and adopting technology, including online and mobile banking platforms
• Understand and identify potential member fraud situations and follow reporting processes
• Meet or exceed individual sales and production goals consistently

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a financial institution or retail sales position
• Member-focused approach
• Strong sales and consulting skills
• Demonstrated ability to cross-sell products and services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years experience in a financial institution or retail sales position
