Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist

About This Role

Provide expert pharmacological consultation and medication management for patients with complex disease states at a specialty retail pharmacy. This role focuses on quality patient care for a low-income patient population in Hilliard, OH.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation and medication management for patients with complex therapies
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients who have limited health literacy
• Manage medication dispensing and inventory using Rx30 software
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulatory standards and protocols

Requirements

• Valid PA pharmacist license
• Demonstrated expertise in retail and specialty pharmacy settings
• Strong disease state management and consultation skills
• Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid populations
• Patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities

Qualifications

• Strong retail and/or specialty pharmacy experience

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with specialty medications and disease state management
