About This Role

Provide direct services as a Peer Support Specialist, guiding and supporting individuals with mental health, substance use, or trauma conditions toward increased wellness by sharing personal recovery experiences in an inspirational way.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services to individuals with mental health, substance use, or trauma conditions
  • Guide and support others toward increased wellness from personal experience of recovery
  • Share learned recovery insights in an inspirational way

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
  • A mental health/SUD lived experience
  • 80-hour Peer Support Learning or equivalent (completed within 90 days of hire or within 2 years of hire)
  • Current techniques of behavioral intervention training (within six months of hire)
