This role involves assessing clients to identify treatment needs, coordinating interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning, and ensuring the overall treatment plan implementation for mental health clients.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients to identify individual problem areas necessitating treatment
- Complete assessments
- Coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings
- Coordinate discharge planning efforts among the multidisciplinary treatment team
- Coordinate the overall treatment plan implementation for the client on the unit
- Work closely with nursing staff to ensure continuity of treatment efforts
Requirements
- Two (2) years of full-time experience or part-time equivalent in a mental health setting OR a bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology, social work or behavioral sciences
- Demonstrated knowledge of DSM-5 and psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery principles
- Familiarity with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology, social work or behavioral sciences may be substituted for experience
- Two (2) years of full-time experience or part-time equivalent in a mental health setting, or a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or behavioral sciences
