Pediatric Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting

About This Role

This role involves providing virtual speech therapy services to elementary-level students within a school setting, focusing on direct therapy, IEP management, and collaboration with educational teams. The Speech-Language Pathologist will manage a caseload of K-5 students and ensure compliance with district standards and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 4 hours of direct speech therapy sessions weekly, scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 9:30 am, and Monday through Thursday from 2:00 to 2:30 pm
• Provide 2 hours of indirect services weekly, including IEP case management, progress monitoring, Medicaid documentation, and maintaining related service logs
• Manage a caseload of students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade
• Utilize telepractice technologies to effectively conduct sessions and collaborate with educational teams
• Maintain compliance with school district standards and state regulations for speech therapy services

Requirements

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings
• Proficiency in telepractice service delivery for speech therapy
• Familiarity with IEP development, Medicaid billing procedures, and educational documentation
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining accurate records
