Pediatric School Speech Pathologist

About This Role

Provide vital speech-language therapy services to elementary school students in a K-12 educational setting in Detroit, Michigan from February through the end of the current school year, supporting their communication needs and development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for elementary school students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services, including teletherapy when applicable
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines

Requirements

• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent experience
• Expertise in pediatric speech and language disorders
• Ability to provide services aligned with educational standards and goals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within a school-based team

Nice to Have

• Experience with teletherapy service delivery
