Provide vital speech-language therapy services to elementary school students in a K-12 educational setting in Detroit, Michigan from February through the end of the current school year, supporting their communication needs and development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for elementary school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, including teletherapy when applicable
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
Requirements
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent experience
- Expertise in pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to provide services aligned with educational standards and goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a school-based team
Nice to Have
- Experience with teletherapy service delivery
Certifications
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
